About the Authors:

Festus E. Obiakor (PhD) teaches Education, Honor, and Interdisciplinary Studies classes at Valdosta State University. He is the author of more than 150 scholarly publications, 3 volumes of poetry, and several inspirational books, including It Even Happens in Good Schools and 100 Multicultural Proverbs (Thousand Oaks, CA: Corwin Press).

Dike Okoro (PhD) teaches Worldviews, Cultural Studies, and Literary Studies at Concordia University Wisconsin. He is the author of three volumes of poetry and the editor of several anthologies of short stories and poetry, including Speaking for the Generation: Contemporary Short Stories from Africa (Trenton, NJ: Africa World Press).

Gathogo Mukuria (PhD) teaches Education classes at the University of Nairobi, Kenya. He has published articles on children and youth in urban schools. He spends his leisure times writing proverbs and poetry.
